Arsenal have just made it into the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Sporting CP 1-0 over two legs.
Like the first leg, the Gunners were nowhere near their usual level going forward, but they managed to keep another clean sheet at the back.
That was all Mikel Arteta needed, and he can now look forward to his second Champions League semi-final in as many seasons.
Which player bored you the most during Arsenal vs Sporting?
Two winners from Arsenal vs Sporting CP
Pep Guardiola
Pep Guardiola would’ve surely had an eye on Arsenal’s performance against Sporting CP on Wednesday night.
The Gunners face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a game that could decide who wins the Premier League title this season.
Seeing Arsenal’s display at the Emirates, we’re sure Guardiola will be licking his lips because the Gunners are nowhere near the level required to be the champions. He will surely back his side to beat Arsenal on Sunday.
Max Dowman
Max Dowman may just be Arsenal’s only fit right winger at the moment.
Bukayo Saka hasn’t played since the international break, while Noni Madueke had to leave the pitch against Sporting with what appeared to be a knee injury.
If the former Chelsea man’s injury sidelines him, Dowman may get his first-ever Premier League start in the biggest game of the season – against Manchester City on Sunday.

Three losers from Arsenal vs Sporting CP
Ben White
Ben White has made a few big mistakes in recent weeks, and he was dropped to the bench against Sporting.
Arteta chose Cristhian Mosquera, who is naturally a centre-half, to play in that role instead, which shows a clear lack of faith from the Arsenal boss in White.
We won’t be surprised at all if he is sold this summer.
Viktor Gyokeres
When Arsenal drew Sporting CP in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, we’re sure Viktor Gyokeres would’ve hoped to hurt his former side.
The Portuguese champions made it incredibly difficult for the Swede to leave the club in the summer. He had to protest to push himself – things got that sour.
Gyokeres had the chance to exact some revenge over the two legs, but he barely did anything to threaten Sporting’s goal.

Noni Madueke
As mentioned earlier, Madueke had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury in the second half.
The Englishman was one of Arsenal’s more lively players against Sporting, and his absence complicates things for the Gunners.
Madueke would’ve loved to go up against Manchester City’s defence on Sunday, but he seemed to be in a lot of pain and could be set for another spell on the sidelines.
That is a real shame.
