The latest news, rumours, opinions and updates about Arsenal defender Ben White from Arsenal Insider. White signed for the Gunners in July 2021 in a £50m transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion. He also became Arsenal’s most expensive defensive signing at the time of joining.
Mikel Arteta marked White as one of his top targets for the summer of 2021 after admiring his ability to pass out as a centre-back. He also awarded the defender his Gunners debut at Brentford in August 2021. But Arteta turned White into one of the Premier League’s most consistent right-backs from the 2022/23 season despite seldom playing in the role previously.
