Arsenal faced Leeds United in their latest Premier League clash.
After defeating Manchester United 1-0 on the opening day, Mikel Arteta’s side were looking to make it two wins from two at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal struggled to create any real openings at the start of the game as Leeds United defended resiliently and denied space in behind the back four.
However, a chance presented itself in the 16th minute after some excellent pressing from midfielder Martin Zubimendi. Arsenal fans will love how Viktor Gyokeres proved Gary Neville wrong following his verdict on the incident.

Gary Neville criticises the composure of Viktor Gyokeres during Arsenal v Leeds
Speaking on Sky Sports commentary of Arsenal v Leeds, Neville was critical of Gyokeres after the striker failed to make the most of a glorious chance to open the scoring.
The ball fell to the Swede inside the box and instead of taking a touch before shooting, he tried to fire the ball first time and pulled it wide of the post.
Neville stated: “Teams that come up from the Championship will not be able to play out the back against Arsenal. They’re one of the best defensive and pressing sides in the league!
“The goalkeeper had two or three warnings. Gyokeres just has to settle himself down. Maybe he’s reaching but he should do a lot better. That should be the final warning for Leeds, it’s ridiculous.”
Arteta has been impressed with Gyokeres during training after his disappointing debut against Manchester United and would have loved the response of his new striker.
Gyokeres powered past the Leeds defence at the start of the second half and fired his first goal in the Premier League – showing great composure with his finish…
Arsenal still want another forward signing after Eberechi Eze arrival
Fabrizio Romano has claimed Arsenal still want another signing despite the £68m capture of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.
With the injury to Kai Havertz and the extent not yet known, Andrea Berta is still active in the market with just over a week remaining of the window.

Arsenal have been linked with Rodrygo all summer and the Brazilian is yet to feature for Real Madrid this season under Xabi Alonso.
Whether the Gunners can offload some squad players and get one more attacking body through the door remains to be seen, but it is certainly a desire from Arteta.
