Arsenal are set to enter the FA Cup for the 2024/25 season, with hopes of lifting the trophy at the end of the campaign.

The Gunners are synonymous with the competition, having won it more times than any other club in history.

If they are to add another FA Cup to their tally, then Arsenal will have to overcome current holders Manchester United.

Mikel Arteta’s side will welcome their rivals to the Emirates Stadium, but they will be wearing a slightly different look for the game.

Why Arsenal are wearing a white kit against Manchester United

A change that most fans will notice is that Arsenal will be wearing a white kit against rivals Manchester United in their FA Cup tie.

It’s a move away from the expected red home kit that would usually be on display for matches at the Emirates Stadium, but for good reason.

It’s part of the “No More Red” campaign that Arsenal have been a part of since January 2022, supporting the tackling of knife crime and youth violence.

Is the white Arsenal kit available to buy?

The No More Red special white kit isn’t available to purchase, having been a bespoke shirt for the purpose of the campaign.

In the past, there have been t-shirts available to buy with designs for the campaign, with all of the proceeds being split across charity partners.

Arsenal’s record with the No More Red white kit

The clash with Manchester United will be the fourth year that Arsenal have worn the white kit as part of the No More Red campaign.

It has typically come in FA Cup matches for the men’s team, with three different opposition faced while wearing it so far.

With one win and two defeats while wearing the white version of their kit each season, the Gunners will be looking to add another victory to their tally while promoting a positive message.

The No More Red campaign promotes the message that Arsenal are looking to bring to the community in tackling knife crime and violence.
