Oxlade-Chamberlain remains the North London club’s biggest ever sale at £35 million following his departure back in 2017.

Just after his departure was announced, Arsene Wenger called him a ‘great player’, and the ex-Arsenal star has gone on to big things.

The 32-year-old has played for Liverpool, Besiktas, and now Celtic since leaving N5, and on Saturday, he won the league title with Celtic.

Former Arsenal player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has just won the Scottish Premier League title with Celtic.

After arriving at Celtic Park back in February as a free agent, the former Gunner made 11 appearances for the Scottish champions.

The 32-year-old scored two goals during these 11 appearances and on Saturday was part of the title-winning celebrations after beating Hearts.

Back in January, Oxlade-Chamberlain trained with Arsenal as he remained on the hunt for his next club, having previously been teammates with Mikel Arteta.

It was a thoroughly dramatic end to the season in the SPL as Celtic defeated Hearts on the final day of the season to win the title.

Martin O’Neill’s side were made to come from behind at Celtic Park, but they did as they won 3-1 to leapfrog Hearts at the final hurdle.

Since the start of October, Hearts had led the league for 250 days; however, Celtic claimed the top spot just when it mattered.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has now added the Scottish title to his collection of one Premier League, one Champions League, one FA Cup, one League Cup, one Turkish Cup, one UEFA Super Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup.

The midfielder enjoyed a successful spell in North London, winning three FA Cups and three Community Shields, but his success really started when he moved to Anfield.

Kieran Tierney was also part of the Celtic squad which won the title this season, playing a key role at left-back after joining from Arsenal.
