Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey appeared on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football segment.
The Welshman was quizzed on the show about his former club and all things football, as he nears the end of his playing career.
Ramsey is on the books at his boyhood club Cardiff City, where his contract expires next summer.
Currently nursing a hamstring injury, the 33-year-old took the time to explore the world of punditry, joining David Jones and Jamie Carragher on the panel for Crystal Palace’s clash with Nottingham Forest.

Aaron Ramsey names his favourite Arsenal teammate
While the focus of the evening was Forest’s win over Palace at the City Ground, Ramsey was handed a platform to talk through his career.
The midfielder made 369 appearances for the Gunners during his time in the Premier League, rising from a teenager to a club icon before departing in 2019.
Ramsey made so many memories in North London that will never be forgotten, most prominently his FA Cup-winning goal in 2014 against Hull City at Wembley.
It wasn’t just at Arsenal that Ramsey found success, winning silverware in Italy with Juventus, where he played alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Monday Night Football, the midfielder was asked to name a career XI, consisting of the best players he’s featured with, where five of his former Arsenal teammates made the cut.
When naming his XI, Ramsey reserved special praise for Santi Cazorla, who he regards as one of his ‘favourite footballers’.
“Cazorla, he’s one of my favourite footballers to play alongside, an absolute joy,” Ramsey said, placing the Spaniard alongside Cesc Fabregas in midfield.
“He’s unbelievably gifted, technical, both feet, take a corner with one foot, the other foot, joy.”
No one could argue with the Welshman’s reasoning for selecting Cazorla, who was undoubtedly one of the most technically gifted players to grace the pitch at the Emirates.
Arsenal players who made Ramsey’s career XI
Cazorla and Fabregas made up the two-man midfield in Ramsey’s career XI, with special mentions for three other former Arsenal stars.
In defence, Laurent Koscielny was named alongside Italian icon Giorgio Chiellini, while Mesut Ozil was selected in the number 10 role between Gareth Bale and Ronaldo.
Leading the line was Olivier Giroud, who left the Gunners in 2018 to join London rivals Chelsea, leaving behind a strong legacy in N5 having scored 105 goals in red and white.
Ramsey has been blessed to have played alongside some huge names in the Emirates era, with Cazorla rising above the rest in the midfielder’s personal ranking.
