Former England striker Alan Shearer has suggested that Ethan Nwaneri should get a call-up for the national team after some impressive displays for Arsenal.
The 17-year-old has moved from strength to strength this season, having been entrusted with more game time by Mikel Arteta.
Featuring on the right wing, Ethan Nwaneri has shown a mixture of everything, from impressive pace and skill to strikes at goal.
It seems clearer than ever that Arsenal have a gem on their hands, with his rise to the senior team continuing each week.
Plenty of milestones still await for Nwaneri, one of which being a senior appearance for the England national team squad.

The March international break is around the corner and it’s a chance for England to get a look at the new head coach Thomas Tuchel.
With a fresh face in the dugout for World Cup qualifiers could come some fresh changes in the squad itself.
Myles Lewis-Skelly has been tipped for an England call-up, but he’s not the only one who could join up with Tuchel this month.
Alan Shearer believes it’s a real possibility that Nwaneri is given the nod, claiming he may give him a shot if it was his decision.
Speaking on Amazon Prime’s coverage of PSV vs Arsenal, he said: “Well there’s definitely a chance but if it was up to me then perhaps.
“Let him [Nwaneri] keep on growing and developing and learning. There’s no doubt it’ll come if he keeps on going.”
The youngster managed to bag yet another goal in the Champions League with his effort against PSV, which will do no harm to his chances of featuring for the Three Lions.
It would also be a move that would see him skip several age ranks in the process.

In his early career so far, Nwaneri has featured on the international stage for the England youth setup.
He was handed a place in the under-16s and under-17s squad in 2022, aged just 15 years old at the time of his debut.
Having progressed in his career, Nwaneri then made his under-19s debut for England in September 2024 during the international break.

At the very least there will be some hope that the star can get involved in the higher age groups, having featured at senior level for Arsenal on a consistent basis.
