Arsenal handed Alexander Isak transfer stance
Arsenal continue to be linked with several options to bolster their centre-forward ranks in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners missed a goalscoring presence throughout the previous campaign, which saw them lose out on the Premier League title to Manchester City.
RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko is one option that has been linked with an Arsenal transfer, with the 21-year-old showing plenty of promise.
However, the North London outfit have been rumoured with interest in a player for the here and now.
That being Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who has bagged 31 goals in 52 Premier League appearances so far.
While it may be an expensive deal, it’s one that Arsenal have been linked with, up until a new update from the player himself.
Speaking to Fotboll Skanalen, Isak spoke on his transfer stance saying: “I’m really, really happy at Newcastle. I had the best season of my career.
“You can’t underestimate that. I love everything about the club, the fans, the city. I have no thoughts about moving or anything like that. I’m having a great time and I’m very happy with my life here.”

Martin Zubimendi transfer boost for Arsenal
Another midfield signing is also on the cards for Arsenal this summer, with Martin Zubimendi one of those heavily linked.
The Real Sociedad star has a release clause worth roughly £51million, though previous reports claimed that a move away from his club isn’t desired.
That may not stand in the way of a switch to the Gunners though, as revealed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking to CaughtOffside about the move, Romano said: “We keep hearing a lot of stories about Martin Zubimendi, who has been linked several times mostly with Arsenal and Barcelona, while some outlets are now stating that he is unlikely to leave Real Sociedad as he is happy and settled in his hometown and not looking to leave the Basque region.
“However, my understanding remains that this is not decided yet.
“Zubimendi’s future, his decision, is still not clear yet – it remains an open situation, and he has a €60million [£51million] release clause.”
It remains to be seen if Arsenal will make a move for the midfielder in the coming months.

Arsenal lead Douglas Luiz transfer chase
Another midfielder who continues to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium is Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz.
Arsenal missed out on landing the Brazilian in 2022, leading to his impressive performances at Villa Park and eventual qualification to the Champions League.
While the Villains will be looking to keep hold of their best stars, there’s still interest in signing Luiz this summer.
According to Jacob Tanswell, Arsenal are leading the race to sign Douglas Luiz ahead of Serie A giants Juventus.
It remains to be seen if the Gunners will be able to pry the midfielder away from Villa in the coming weeks.
