The Gunners already had an incredible side. They competed for the Premier League title three seasons in a row and came close to winning it every single time.
However, lack of options in the event of injuries hurt them, which is why Andrea Berta signed eight new players for the club in the summer.

Ally McCoist says Arsenal have the best squad he has ever seen in English football
Many people have claimed that Arsenal have the best squad in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners have at least two top-class players in every single position on the pitch, and that has allowed Mikel Arteta a lot of options.
Almost every player in the squad has had a positive impact so far this season, and that has helped Arsenal stay alive in all four competitions.
McCoist spoke on talkSPORT recently, and he claimed that Arsenal will still get over the line despite dropping points against Brentford.
Then, he branded the North Londoners as the best squad he has ever seen in the English game.
He said: “No, I don’t think they will (bottle it).
“I still think Arsenal are OK. In the grand scheme of things, is a draw at Brentford, who are absolutely flying at the moment, is that a bad result? Not really!”
McCoist later added: “I’m going on record and saying this might be the best squad I’ve ever seen in English football.
“I’m not necessarily saying they’re the greatest team, that’s obviously up for debate. But in terms of the 22 they have got, can you remember anyone having a stronger squad anywhere?”

Fans of rival clubs will definitely argue with McCoist’s bold claim, but the pundit may just be right.
Since the start of this season, only three outfield players at Arsenal have not missed a game due to injury – Myles Lewis-Skelly, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze.
Every other player in the squad has spent some time on the sidelines.
Despite that, Arsenal are on top of the Premier League table, finished on top of the Champions League standings, have reached the final of the Carabao Cup and are in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
It’s hard to imagine any other side in history being able to perform so well with all the injury issues.
That is why we think McCoist is right – Arsenal do have the best squad in English football. Hopefully, they can win a few trophies in the end to be remembered in history.
