North London remains red as Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur yet again in the derby.

The Gunners have historically been the best team in North London. Spurs fans can talk all they want, but the fact is that Arsenal are the superior club.

Mikel Arteta’s side completed the double for the season on Wednesday night. Dominic Solanke’s own goal cancelled out Son Heung-min’s deflected opener before Leandro Trossard scored the winner with a brilliant strike.

Arsenal remain the Kings of North London, and this derby win matches one fantastic feat.

Arsenal achieve incredible North London Derby feat after beating Tottenham

Arsenal’s recent record against Tottenham is absolutely incredible.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last six games against Spurs. The last time they lost a North London Derby was in 2022, when Antonio Conte was at the helm.

Arsenal failed to do the double last season as the derby at the Emirates ended in a 2-2 draw. But, Arteta has managed to win both fixtures against Tottenham this campaign.

The win on Wednesday night was Arsenal’s third consecutive North London Derby victory in the league – this has not happened in over 36 years.

Arsenal’s last three Premier League games against Tottenham

The last time Arsenal won three league games in a row against Spurs was all the way back in September 1988 – before the Premier League even started.

The Gunners went on to make it four in a row back then, and we’re sure that will be the aim again when the two sides meet next season.

For now, the bragging rights remain with Arsenal, and the win on Wednesday night increases the gap between the two sides in the Premier League table to a whopping 19 points.

If that doesn’t show the difference in levels between the two clubs, we don’t know what will.

Arsenal could face Tottenham again this season

The two North London Derbies of the season in the Premier League are done, and Arsenal have come out on top on both occasions.

The Gunners completely deserved the win in the two fixtures, and there’s a chance they can make it three if things work out for the fierce rivals.

Tottenham have a 1-0 lead against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final, while Arsenal are 2-0 down to Newcastle United.

If Spurs can hold onto their lead and Arsenal manage to turn it around against the Magpies, the Carabao Cup final will be a North London Derby for the first time ever this season.

We really hope that happens as we are confident that Arsenal have what it takes to beat Tottenham again.
