Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres cannot stay away from the headlines due to his goalscoring form.
All eyes are on Gyokeres as the Sporting CP striker continues to find the back of the net regardless of the circumstances.
Whether it be in the Champions League, Liga Portugal or on the international stage, the 26-year-old is scoring goals for fun right now.
Arsenal want to sign Gyokeres and they aren’t the only ones, with Mikel Arteta’s hopes of an easy pathway to capture the forward not helped by his goalscoring form.

Viktor Gyokeres matches seven-year Sweden record
Just like the Gunners, Manchester United hope to sign Gyokeres, who was signed at Sporting by Ruben Amorim.
There’s already competition to sign the forward, with matters set to expand if his scoring frequency continues.
The November international break did not impact Gyokeres’ form, as the former Coventry City star simply continued to do what he does best, score goals.
It was just the standard six goal contributions recorded in two games during the November break for the striker, who matched a seven year record for his country last time out.
During Sweden’s 6-0 win against Azerbaijan, Gyokeres scored four times, becoming the first Swedish player to do so in seven years.
After the game, the Sporting talisman spoke to the media, where he described scoring as “fun”, via Sportbladet.
“It feels very good. It was nice to score some goals today and win the match. It’s fun and I enjoy it.”
Former Arsenal target Emil Forsberg reacts to Gyokeres
The record-matcher himself wasn’t the only person to comment on his performance, as former Arsenal target Emil Forsberg did too.
Forsberg also featured in the win, where after the dominant victory, he described Gyokeres as being “like no other”.
“He is incredible, in a goal team like no other. He is constantly developing and doing what he is good at.”
Arsenal didn’t manage to land Forsberg during Unai Emery’s reign however, the Gunners could finally get a deal for a Swedish player over the line in the summer, as Arteta continues to study Gyokeres.
