Arsenal fans want Jurrien Timber ready for the Champions League final as the defender appears to be back training.

The Gunners supporters are keen for the defender to get some minutes in his legs ahead of the final on May 30 in Budapest.

Arsenal will need Timber ready to deal with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, especially as Ben White has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Timber was pushing to return for Arsenal, and the defender now looks set to play a part in one of the team’s final three matches.

After being spotted ahead of Arsenal training, fans have been reacting to how the defender’s return should be managed.

• “If Timber can get 90 minutes in his legs over the next few weeks, this is huge for the final.”

Arteta will need to carefully manage the 24-year-old ahead of the final three games as he could be key to helping them beat PSG.

Timber was excellent against PSG last season and could be the man to stop Kvaratskhelia at the end of the month.
