Arsenal recorded a 2-1 victory over Manchester United as they continued their pre-season preparations, and Gabriel Jesus got on the scoresheet.
Jesus delivered a sensational performance in attack as he scored an equaliser from Ethan Nwaneri’s cross, and threatened throughout with his movement and skill causing Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro nightmares.
The Brazilian endured a tough second season at Arsenal which saw him miss significant chunks of the campaign through injury, and he never built up full fitness. However, he now looks transformed, and ready to hit the heights he showed when he first joined two years ago.
Fans are excited at the prospect of a fully fit Gabriel Jesus in the side, and have highlighted his performance as an indicator that he is on his way to a sensational return to his best form.
Arsenal fans believe Gabriel Jesus can return to best form
Arsenal fans have now taken to X to praise Jesus for his performance, and highlighted how he can make a bigger impact this season.
“Man if Gabriel Jesus has two complete knees for the season we may be back in business,” one posted.
“Take me back to pre-WC 22/23 Jesus and erase that knee injury. Arsenal win the league that year. I’ll die on that hill,” another responded.
“We will win it for sure if Jesus is fit all through ,What he brings is somewhat very unique and Def a world class player,” another fan claimed.
“Really hope he can stay fit. He is a proper player, might not be a lethal goal scorer but his work rate, general play and ability to create goals is fantastic,” another fan stated of Jesus.
“He looks rejuvenated!” a fan added.
Gabriel Jesus needs to maintain consistent fitness

Jesus at his best is one of the best forwards in the Premier League, and he was flying when he first moved to Arsenal.
His combination of skill and work rate makes him an incredible option to lead the line and get the best out of the rest of his teammates, and he can also provide creative output from the wings.
He has struggled with a knee injury since the 2022 World Cup, but finally looks back to his best shape, and Jesus admitted that he feels ready to have a bigger impact this season.
If Mikel Arteta can get the most out of Jesus this season, it will be like having a new signing in attack, and he could end up being the difference in the title race if he can avoid injury.
