The Emirates Stadium has been Arsenal’s ground for nearly 20 years now, but it’s only in recent seasons that it has started to feel truly like home.
Mikel Arteta has played a huge part in transforming things at the stadium, helping to add those little details that make the fan experience that much better.
Wins in the Premier League and Champions League have certainly helped grow that love for the Emirates Stadium, but so too have the changes elsewhere.
The inclusion of a pre-match song, with The Angel playing before teams kick off, has helped to build that atmosphere and togetherness.
Now, Arsenal supporters want something else to help with the little details, harking back to the past and those who have done so much for the club.

Arsenal fans want a statue of Ian Wright outside the Emirates Stadium
Among the changes that Arsenal fans want at the Emirates Stadium are some new statues surrounding the outside.
One star that supporters want to celebrate in that fashion is Ian Wright, who cemented himself as an Arsenal legend during his career.
The forward joined from Crystal Palace in 1991 and spent seven years with the Gunners, scoring plenty of goals.
Wright has since gone on to show his unwavering support for the club, with both the men’s and women’s sides, while playing his part as an ambassador at the same time.
Fans have called for a statue of him to be added at the stadium on social media, with one fan stating: “Get Ian Wright a statue outside the Emirates.”
Another fan added: “I hope Arsenal builds a statue for Ian Wright while he’s still alive, man. Just feels like he’s the kind of man who’ll only get the recognition and praise after he’s left us. The man deserves to be immortalised outside the Emirates just as much as Tony Adams. He bleeds Arsenal.”
The praise continued, with: “We need to get Ian Wright a statue outside The Emirates. Not only one of our greatest ever players, but he represents Arsenal authentically, positively and passionately, supports EVERY aspect of the club & finds meaningful ways to impact the current team. Fan-led movement?”
“Come on, Arsenal,” one fan implored. “It’s time for an IanWright statue at the Emirates… It’s nearly 28 years since he broke Cliff Bastin’s scoring record.”
Journalist Charles Watts even joined the conversation, stating: “How has Wrighty not got a statue yet by the way? What are they waiting for? Wrighty & Rocky together. Just do it.”
Meanwhile, some fans have even started a petition to get the club to bring a statue in for the icon.
It shows just how much love there is for Wright from the fanbase, something they want represented with a statue.

What statues do Arsenal have outside the Emirates Stadium already
Arsenal have currently got six statues scattered around the Emirates Stadium, commemorating some of the best from the club’s history.
Ken Friar has one outside the stadium, having been an important part of the club’s history in the boardroom.
Beyond him, there are statues remembering the impact of Herbert Chapman, Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams and Thierry Henry.
The latest to be immortalised in bronze is Arsene Wenger, who will be remembered as one of the greatest managers of the club’s history.
It remains to be seen whether Wright could get his own or not, but the fans have spoken and clearly want it.
