England take on Spain in the final of Euro 2024, and Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is expected to start the game.
The Three Lions haven’t had a great tournament, but they’ve still managed to make it into the final. They have looked better recently, which increases their hopes of silverware.
However, Spain have been head and shoulders above all the other teams at Euro 2024. They have won every single game so far, and that makes them the favourites.
All the pressure is on Gareth Southgate‘s side, and his men will have to have a very good game to avoid the heartbreak they suffered at the last European Championships.
Saka, in particular, will be desperate to right the wrongs of Euro 2020, and Arsenal fans all believe he will have a field day against Spain for one particular reason.

Arsenal fans deliver verdict on Bukayo Saka vs Marc Cucurella battle in Euro 2024 final
Saka against Cucurella will be one of the many battles when England take on Spain in the Euro 2024 final. The two players have played against each other many times in the Premier League before, most recently when Arsenal thrashed Chelsea 5-0.
Ahead of the final in Berlin, many Arsenal fans took to X to have their say about the battle, and all of them see just one thing happening – Saka destroying Cucrella.
“Cucu is having nightmares tonight ahead of Sunday’s showdown,” said another fan.
Another Gooner said: “Saka is going to have a field day against Cucurella and I’ll be there no matter what!”
“Saka always cooks Cucurella. It’s a bad match-up for him. Saka too strong, faster and very smart too,” tweeted another Arsenal supporter.”
Another Arsenal fan said: “Man’s already having nightmares about our star boy, Saka would so cook tomorrow!”
Cucurella reveals what his ‘main job’ will be vs Saka
Saka will definitely relish playing against Cucurella in the final of Euro 2024.
The Englishman is a nightmare for any full-back to deal with, and someone like Cucurella, who is better in the attacking third than in his own, could face some serious problems.
However, the Chelsea defender says he’s ready for the challenge Saka will pose in the final. He has also revealed what his ‘main job’ will be – make the Arsenal star ‘feel uncomfortable’ every time he gets the ball.
Speaking to The Athletic, he said: “I know how Saka plays. I don’t really need to watch a lot of footage as I normally watch all the Arsenal games.
“It is so tough to mark him, but those challenges are nice for me. Playing against rivals of such quality is nice, I’m sure we both can’t wait for it. My main target is to make him feel uncomfortable.”
Arsenal are also closing in on a transfer as Nuno Tavares is set to leave, with the pair discussing where it all went wrong for him, whilst there was also an update on Fulham’s interest in Emile Smith Rowe.
