Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over Chelsea was a sensational one, as Mikel Arteta’s side lit up the Emirates Stadium with an outstanding performance.

The Gunners were rampant as they continued their challenge for the Premier League title, and they recorded their biggest-ever victory over their London rivals.

An early goal from Leandro Trossard helped set the tone, and the hosts were dominant, but could not add to their goal tally in the first half.

Ben White then pounced on a rebound from a corner to slot in to double the lead early on in the second half, and this meant there was no hope of a Chelsea comeback.

Kai Havertz then netted twice against his former club, before White scored again with what appeared to be an attempted cross.

This allowed Mikel Arteta to ring the changes, and this time, he used all five substitutes as the likes of Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus were introduced, and Arsenal fans are delighted with what they saw from Vieira.

Arsenal fans delighted with Fabio Vieira cameo vs Chelsea

Vieira came on in the 82nd minute on the right wing as a replacement for Bukayo Saka, and he did enough in his 15 minutes on the pitch to show that he could still have a future at the club.

Fans were amazed with his display on X, as he showed his pure attacking ability, with one describing his performance as “bright, energetic and with a lovely touch.”

Others were happy that Vieira’s talent had come to the limelight with his display, with one fan highlighting how far he could go.

“I don’t know how people can watch Fábio Vieira and not see huge potential in him,” he claimed.

The Portuguese midfielder has also been praised as “easily” one of Arsenal’s “most talented players.

Vieira has spent the last few months out injured, but he continued his comeback in style as he gave Mikel Arteta a headache with his performance.

The 23-year-old completed all of his seven passes, and almost scored as he sent a weak-foot effort flying into the side netting.

He also created a chance, and looked incredibly sharp on the ball.

One fan pointed out that he now needs to kick on and gain more game time if he is to make it Arsenal.

One fan even criticised Arteta for not trusting Viera before.

“That Fabio Vieira cameo btw… Arteta needs to start trusting him more man,” he stated.
