With each new season comes a raft of new kits that Arsenal players will don over the course of the coming campaign.
Whilst we are still in the early exchanges of the new season, thoughts are already turning to how Mikel Arteta’s side will be attired next time around.
Arsenal introduced a back kit into their repertoire this season, inspired by the North London club’s connection with Africa. More change looks to be on the way, though.

Arsenal fans react to leaked kit
Footy Headlines have recently published “leaked” images of a kit that they speculate could be worn by Arsenal next season.
It is an away kit, with a design that combines a darker and lighter shade of blue in a zig-zagging pattern, reminiscent of the away kit donned by the Gunners in the 1995/96 season.
Plenty of Arsenal fans on X have seen this new design and have shared their thoughts.
One said: “I would so buy that’s such a upgrade. nearly as good as the marble effect looking third kit from a couple of years back.”
Another stated: “The heaviest upgrade in the history of upgrades, considering this year’s away kit.”
Another added: “Beautiful.”
One fan observed: “Anything is better than this year’s monstrosity!”
Another chipped in with: “Please let this be true.”
Why do football kits matter?
There is certainly an importance to kits. They carry meaning, and represent the weight of history. Many football players are superstitious too, and can attach meaning and a power of sorts to certain kits.
For fans, they are skeleton keys to annexes of memories. Seeing an old kit can reignite the recollection of a magic moment in the stands.
Arteta was frustrated that Arsenal could not wear their preferred kit option when they took on Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season due to a perceived colour clash. The Spanish coach clearly understands the value of the shirt, of the badge, and what it all means to players and fans alike.
