Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Kai Havertz injury, William Saliba to Real Madrid and Jorginho contract.

After a week without a game, Arsenal are now gearing up for a return to action as they face off against Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Gunners know that three points will be vital to their push to win the title, with it being one of two competitions left up for grabs.

Elsewhere, the Champions League buzzes along in the background, with Arsenal keeping a close eye on who they could face in the next round.

With that said, here’s a look at the biggest Arsenal stories ahead of the day.

Arsenal handed Kai Havertz injury problem

Injury troubles have been a real concern for Arsenal this season, with Mikel Arteta having bad luck on that front.

The forward line is already looking thin, with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli out for the foreseeable future.

Adding to that list is Kai Havertz as the Daily Mail reports that the forward has suffered a hamstring problem in Dubai.

The centre-forward is set for some scans to see how long he is likely to be out of action, following the fresh problem.

It leaves Arsenal without a recognised striker, should he be out for a little while.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal have set a world-record fee around the £100million mark on Saliba if he is to leave.

The report adds that Saliba is open to the move as it could see him reunite with Kylian Mbappe.

Kroenkes block Mikel Arteta transfer request

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wanted to keep Jorginho at the club, but the request was blocked by the board, which includes owners Stan Kroenke and Josh Kroenke.

That’s according to O Dia, which claimed the manager personally requested a new contract for the midfielder – who is in the final six months of his stay with the Gunners.
