Arsenal’s luck with injuries goes from bad to worse as the worst possible news for Mikel Arteta has struck whilst out in Dubai.
The training camp started off with Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli out for over a month with a hamstring injury and now misses crucial games in the Premier League and Champions League.
Takehiro Tomiyasu could now need a second surgery on a knee issue after having only played six minutes of league action this season.
As if things couldn’t get any worse for the Arsenal, Kai Havertz was not pictured in Arsenal training and it seems that Arteta’s only fit striker could now be facing a spell on the sideline as well.

Kai Havertz suffers hamstring injury whilst on Dubai break
According to the Mail Online, Havertz has suffered a hamstring scare whilst on Arsenal’s mid-season break to Dubai and was forced to miss the club’s latest training session.
The precise diagnosis and extent of the injury is yet to be confirmed but it is likely that any hamstring injury will lead to a spell out of the side for the German international.
The absence of Havertz would leave Arteta with just three fit forward players and no recognised centre forward in the squad that is set to face Leicester in a must-win clash.
Failure to sign a striker will once again be highlighted as Arsenal are set to be without Havertz, who has scored 15 goals already this season but has had to play 34 games in all competitions, meaning an extraordinary workload for the striker.
Leandro Trossard will play as centre forward in the absence of Havertz
Bukayo Saka is still weeks away from being available, therefore Arsenal are down to three fit, senior forward options.
Leandro Trossard is likely to replace Havertz in the central role with Raheem Sterling and Ethan Nwaneri providing the width in attack.

Arteta will have to be creative in ways to find the firepower to keep pace with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, whilst there is also a Champions League last-16 tie just around the corner.
Arsenal may even be forced to use Kieran Tierney as a left winger as the Scottish left back was kept at the club until the end of the season before joining Celtic in the summer.
