Kai Havertz injury scare for Arsenal
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been handed a fresh injury concern to Kai Havertz heading into the October international break.
The versatile forward, who can play in midfield or at full-back if required, has been an important asset to the Gunners once again this season.
With some more impressive performances, Havertz got the call to represent Germany in the UEFA Nations League in the upcoming week.

Those hopes of featuring for his nation appear to have been dashed after an injury update on Havertz following the victory against Southampton.
A statement from the national team reads: “Kai Havertz will miss the upcoming international matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands due to knee problems. National coach Julian Nagelsmann nominated Jonathan Burkardt in Havertz’s place. Get well soon, Kai!”

Arsenal handed Martin Odegaard injury boost
Arsenal are eagerly awaiting the return of club captain Martin Odegaard from injury in the weeks ahead, with a huge boost appearing.
The attacking midfielder suffered a knock to his ankle in the previous international break with Norway, which has kept him sidelined.

Odegaard was wearing a protective boot through the early stages of the injury as he looked to recover quickly.
However, rather fortunately, the captain was seen without his boot in the clash with Southampton, potentially hinting toward a return to action soon.

Gabriel Martinelli reacts to Southampton goal
Gabriel Martinelli went for a long period without a goal but has seemingly put himself back on the scoresheet in recent weeks.
The Brazilian has been rewarded with a call-up to the national team again, with a strike against Southampton adding the cherry on top of an ideal run of form.
Martinelli revealed the training sessions behind the finish, telling Optus Sports: “Great ball from B [Saka], we’ve been practising that ball a lot during the weeks and today it paid off…
“We know we have to attack in the box and when someone opens the ball up, we know where to go.”
It show the sheer amount of work Arteta and his Arsenal coaches are putting in behind the scenes to get performances on the pitch.
