Arsenal have made it to the October International break unbeaten despite suffering several key injuries, but they have now been handed a fresh problem.
Mikel Arteta had to start Thomas Partey at right-back in their victory over Southampton, as Ben White and Jurrien Timber were out of the squad.
Timber has pulled out of the Netherlands squad with an injury he picked up in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain, and he is not the only Arsenal player missing International duty.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Martin Odegaard are amongst the players who will miss their upcoming National Team fixtures with injury, and Kai Havertz will now follow suit in remaining in North London.

Kai Havertz pulls out of Germany squad with knee injury
Arsenal attacker Havertz was sensational against Southampton, as he scored the equalising goal in a strong overall display, continuing his fine start to the season.
However, his campaign has now been disrupted, as the German Football Federation announced that he has pulled out of their upcoming fixtures with a suspected knee injury.
“Kai Havertz will miss the upcoming international matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands due to knee problems. National coach Julian Nagelsmann nominated Jonathan Burkardt in Havertz’s place. Get well soon, Kai!” They posted in a statement.
Germany have two Nations League fixtures next week, but Havertz will no longer play a part in either game, with the striker set to be assessed by Arsenal in the coming days.
Kai Havertz injury would be huge blow for Arsenal
Arsenal will hope this injury is not serious, as Havertz has been firing on all cylinders this season.
The German matched Robin van Persie’s record by scoring in seven consecutive home matches, and he is in the best form of his career in English football.
Gabriel Jesus was also unimpressive as a centre-forward against Southampton, and if Havertz is to miss any action, the Brazilian is not in the best condition to lead the line in his absence.
If Havertz’s injury is a minor one, Arsenal will be glad that the 25-year-old will not participate in Germany’s upcoming games, after Odegaard was ruled out for a lengthy period with an ankle problem he picked up with Norway last month.
