Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao and Spain star Nico Williams this summer, following another impressive campaign.
The 22-year-old is off the back of a La Liga season that saw him score five goals and assist 14 in 31 appearances.
Williams played a key role in helping his club side win the Copa del Rey, while he also featured for Spain as they won the European Championships.
With the exciting forward now attracting plenty of attention, a decision has been made surrounding his future.
According to the Athletic, Williams is set to reject any transfer approaches this summer in favour of staying at Bilbao.
It comes as a major blow to Mikel Arteta in the transfer chase, while Barcelona have also shown interest.

Antonio Conte eyes Arsenal star Jakub Kiwior
Jakub Kiwior is one Arsenal player who is attracting a lot of attention in the summer transfer market, with teams looking to land the Poland international.
The latest team to be linked with a move is Serie A side Napoli, who are under new stewardship with Antonio Conte in charge.
That’s according to Polish outlet Meczyki, which states that the Azzurri are one of several teams in the division looking at the defender.
The 24-year-old made 30 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal last season, often featuring as a left-back or centre-back.
However, with Riccardo Calafiori joining the squad alongside the return of Jurrien Timber from injury, the future of Kiwior is still up in the air.
A decision on his place at London Colney is set to be decided upon the club’s return to the UK from the USA pre-season tour.

Eddie Nketiah agrees personal terms with Olympique Marseille
Another Arsenal star who has been linked with a potential exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer is Eddie Nketiah.
The striker started last season well but faded into a backup role towards the back end of the campaign, leaving plenty of questions surrounding his future.
Recent reports have linked Nketiah with a potential transfer away from the Gunners in search of more game time.
One of those teams showing interest is Olympique Marseille, with the Athletic claiming that personal terms on a five-year deal have already been agreed between the club and player.
That only leaves an agreement between the clubs themselves to secure a transfer switch, though there’s still some progress to make there.
The latest offer is believed to be in the region of £16.8million, which isn’t close enough to Arsenal’s valuation of Nketiah.
