One Arsenal player is now attracting interest from one of the most popular managers in the world, Antonio Conte.

The Gunners still have a lot of work to do in this summer’s transfer market.

All eyes are on incomings ahead of the start of the 2024/25 Premier League season, but Mikel Arteta could push quite a few players out of the door as well.

Here’s the latest on one of them as Arsenal look to cash in on him before the window shuts in August.

Antonio Conte’s Napoli and two other clubs have asked about Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior

Jakub Kiwior only joined Arsenal in January 2023.

The Poland international is a quality player. He is good on the ball, strong without it and can play as a centre-half as well as at left-back.

Kiwior did a great job in the 2023/24 season when he had to fill in for Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back, but for one reason or another, his future has always seemed to lie elsewhere.

The arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna further reduces the need for Kiwior at Arsenal and he could be sold because they are both very similar players.

Now, Polish outlet Meczyki have shared the latest on the situation.

The report claims that a decision will be made on Kiwior’s future after Arsenal return from their pre-season tour of the USA.

Kiwior could stay and fight for his place in the side, but looking at Arsenal’s squad, a move away feels like the best thing for all parties involved.

The report reveals that there is ‘great interest’ in the Arsenal defender this summer. Bologna tried to include Kiwior in the Calafiori deal but the player refused.

He has his sights set on bigger clubs, and it has been claimed that Italian giants Juventus, Inter Milan and even Conte’s Napoli have asked Arsenal about signing him.

The report concludes by saying that if Arsenal give Kiwior the green light to leave, a move will be done very quickly.

Arsenal have set an asking price for Kiwior

Arsenal signed Kiwior for an initial £17.5 million plus £3.5 million in add-ons from Spezia in January 2023.

The Pole has not been a bad player for the Gunners by any means, but following Calafiori’s arrival, we just think he has no real future at Arsenal anymore.

That’s why a move away from the Emirates is likely in this window, and if reports are to be believed, Arsenal have set a £25 million demand to sell Kiwior this summer.

It remains to be seen if one of the interested Italian clubs will be willing to meet that asking price.

A loan with an obligation to buy in 2025 seems more realistic to us.
