Riccardo Calafiori injury blow
Arsenal have been handed a fresh injury concern when it comes to the fitness of defender Riccardo Calafiori over the international break.
The Italian international featured for his side in a clash with France in the UEFA Nations League, in which they won 3-1.
However, in a rather freak incident involving Ousmane Dembele, Calafiori had to come off injured in the tie.
There were plenty of concerns about how serious the incident could be, given the fact the Gunners already have a few stars missing for the North London Derby.
Those worries may only be heightened after Calafiori was withdrawn from the Italy squad to make a return to Arsenal.
The defender is set to be assessed in the next week to see how severe the issue may be.

Jorginho transfer exit
Arsenal star Jorginho could face a possible exit from the club, despite the English transfer window already being closed.
The Italian international has just one year left on his deal, which could see him leave as a free agent in the summer.
The 32-year-old joined from Chelsea in January 2023 in an attempt to help push for the Premier League title.
However, with further signings made in the midfield, he has fallen down the pecking order to just be a squad player.
With that in mind, The Sun reports that Turkish side Galatasaray are keen on signing Jorginho in the final days of their transfer window.
As it stands though, Arsenal are set to stand firm and keep the Italian international to ensure he can provide key depth to the squad.

Adrien Rabiot to Arsenal transfer chance
Arsenal’s midfield is facing a few problems ahead of the North London Derby, with some key absences from the side.
Mikel Merino will miss the tie through injury, meanwhile, Declan Rice is also out of the clash with a suspension.
That considerably reduces the options available to Mikel Arteta, though there are still some free agents available.
One of those is Adrien Rabiot, who is still available after leaving Juventus at the end of his contract in the summer.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that the Frenchman is set to turn down proposals from Turkey and Saudi Arabia as he looks for his next club.
With his priority being those in the top five leagues, it gives Arsenal the chance to land an extra midfield option.
