Arsenal have been handed a potential boost in the recovery over Bukayo Saka, who appears to be making progress regarding his recent hamstring injury.
The winger has been sidelined since mid-December when he pulled up with a problem in the clash away at Crystal Palace.
It was revealed that Saka tore his hamstring, with surgery required to recover the issue, but that would keep him out for some time.
With a return to action not expected until March, Arsenal have been perplexed with how to replace the Hale End academy graduate in the side – not least due to other injuries.
Saka was spotted on crutches in the North London Derby, only adding to the fear that he would be out for some time.
Fortunately, though, it seems as though progress is being made towards being back out on the pitch soon.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka spotted without crutches against Aston Villa
With another match at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal had to settle for a draw against Aston Villa, coming as a blow to their Premier League title chances.
The absence of Bukayo Saka was felt at times, having been one of a few notable absences from the side in the clash.
With it being another home game though, the winger was spotted on the touchline watching the teams warm up, similar to the Tottenham match.
In a surprise twist though, in the space of just a few days, Saka has ditched the crutches as he was spotted walking without them on the turf.
A video on social media from journalist Jordan Davies captured the moment, coming as a slight boost to Arsenal.
There will be some hope, as a result, that Saka is at least on course, if not ahead of schedule, in his race back to fitness.
It remains to be seen just when he could be back, but the road to recovery is likely to ramp up in the weeks ahead.

Arsenal results since Bukayo Saka injury
Since Saka’s injury woes, Arsenal have seen their own form take a slight dip as they look to salvage the season.
Their FA Cup hopes have been dashed, while a place in the Carabao Cup final currently hangs by a thread.
When it comes to the Premier League, the title is slipping further and further away, while the Champions League remains the one shining light.
