Arsenal continue to dominate the Champions League.

The Gunners have been the best team in the competition this season. They have won every single game so far, the most recent of which was the 3-0 victory over Club Brugge on Wednesday night.

A brace from Noni Madueke and a fine strike from Gabriel Martinelli sealed the win for Mikel Arteta’s side in Belgium, and they are now certain to qualify for the knockout stages.

Incredible stat shows Arsenal are the best team in Europe

Arsenal have had a great start to the new season.

The Gunners did suffer defeats against Liverpool and Aston Villa, but they are still at the top of the Premier League table.

In the Champions League, the Gunners have been flawless so far. They have won all six of their games, scoring 17 and conceding just one goal in those fixtures.

That is extremely impressive on its own, but what makes it even better is that no other team in the Champions League, Europa League and the Conference League can boast the same feat.

Among 108 teams across the three UEFA competitions, only Arsenal have a 100 per cent win rate, which is simply incredible.

That is perhaps one of the reasons why Opta have branded the Gunners as the favourites to win the Champions League this season.

Is Noni Madueke right? Can Arsenal complete a Premier League and Champions League double?

What Arsenal need to do to win the Champions League

Arsenal have been flying in the Premier League and the Champions League this season.

It is no surprise that the Gunners have been made the favourites to win both competitions, but they will struggle to go all the way if they can’t keep their players fit.

Arteta was without Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Cristhian Mosquera, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz and Max Dowman against Brugge.

The players available made light work of the Belgian side, who had changed their manager just a day before the game.

But it will not be as easy as Wednesday night for Arsenal against the bigger sides in the competition if they can’t get their injured players back.
