Arsenal loan stars were all in action over the most recent game week, with Kylian Mbappe causing a nightmare for one ace.

Loan spells are utilised to help some players gain experience or much-needed game time, but there are some big challenges that come with them.

Coming up against Kylian Mbappe is one such challenge, given the Real Madrid star is one of the best forwards in the world.

The Frenchman was back among the goals for Los Blancos, impacting Arsenal loan ace Karl Hein in the process.

Kylian Mbappe scores Real Madrid hat-trick against Arsenal loanee Karl Hein

In another change to the Arsenal goalkeeping departments, Karl Hein was sent out on loan to Real Valladolid last summer.

It’s not been an easy time for the Estonian shot-stopper, with the side currently sitting bottom of La Liga with the worst goal difference.

It wasn’t much easier for Hein when his side took on Real Madrid, who are top of the league and picking up some form after a tough start to the campaign.

Kylian Mbappe has started to hit his stride as well, scoring a hat-trick against the Arsenal loanee in a huge 3-0 victory for Los Blancos.

Hein could do little about the first and third goal, though may feel as though he could’ve prevented the forward from scoring from such a tight angle on the second attempt.

The goalkeeper made one save, with one successful rush out and one completed high claim from a cross.

The result keeps Real Valladolid rooted to the bottom of the table, with a challenge to try and overturn relegation form.

How has Arsenal loanee Karl Hein performed at Real Valladolid

Since moving to La Liga to play for Real Valladolid, Karl Hein has played every game in the division with a few struggles.

The 22-year-old has 21 appearances with 42 goals conceded so far, along with just five clean sheets in those matches so far.

Five points currently separate Real Valladolid from safety, with the relegation places creating for a real threat.

Hein will be looking to increase those clean sheet stats to help drag his loan side away from the possibility of dropping into the Segunda Division.
