Arsenal respond to Leandro Trossard transfer bid
While the summer transfer window is closed for clubs in the Premier League, Arsenal have still received a transfer bid.
Recent reports stated that Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad bid £30million to sign Leandro Trossard before their own transfer deadline day.
It left Mikel Arteta a clear dilemma over the future of the Belgian international, who has been a key squad member since joining the club from Brighton.

While Trossard has received some regular minutes, he isn’t a guaranteed starter, while the money on offer from the Saudi Pro League could also turn heads.
However, according to The Athletic, the Gunners have turned down the offer which would’ve been a loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer.
It is unknown if another offer will be lodged before the deadline passes, but it leaves uncertainty over the future of Trossard.

Alan Shearer verdict on Raheem Sterling to Arsenal
Arsenal fans are looking forward to getting their first glimpse of Raheem Sterling in their famous red shirt, but face a slight wait as of yet.
With the international break now here, there will be two weeks at least until the Gunners get to see the surprise transfer deadline day signing make his way onto the pitch.
There is still plenty of excitement around with some big names in football giving their say on how the winger will perform at the Emirates Stadium.

Among those names was Alan Shearer, who discussed Sterling on the Stick to Football podcast and said: “I think it’s a really good move for him. I think it’s important that he got out and played, it would’ve been horrible for him to sit there and rot in the sticks and maybe not even see first-team football, never mind train with them.”
When asked about the impact the forward could have, the former England striker added: “With his experience and his know-how, he could be valuable to Arsenal.”
