Rival fans have mocked Arsenal on social media after spotting one minor detail at the Gunners’ London Colney training ground in a video announcing David Raya’s transfer.
The 27-year-old completed an initial loan switch to Emirates Stadium this Tuesday. Raya quit Brentford after 161 appearances over four years to join Arsenal for the 2023/24 season. The Gunners also secured a £27m option to buy the two-cap Spain international in the £3m deal.
Raya vacated the Gtech Community Stadium having been a key part of Thomas Frank’s team in west London. He started all 38 of the Bees’ Premier League fixtures in 2022/23 The goalie also registered 12 clean sheets and even sporadically took their captain’s armband last term.

Arsenal announced Raya’s transfer with a host of videos of the Barcelona native’s first day at London Colney. But one clip left rival fans mocking them after spotting Arsenal have pictures of Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup titles on the wall of their training ground.

No team has won the FA Cup more often than the Emirates Stadium natives with 14 titles in Arsenal’s trophy cabinet, though. Mikel Arteta has also overseen their most recent trophy in 2020. The Spaniard also led them in an unanticipated Premier League title fight in 2022/23.
But some rival fans have laughed at Arsenal for the trophy graphics now revealed in Raya’s announcement video. A few also noted how it is similar to Manchester City having a poster of the Champions League trophy with ‘our goal’ above it at their training ground last season.
Mikel Arteta has made several changes to their training ground

The images of Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup trophies that rival fans noted at London Colney from Raya’s transfer reveal video are just the latest change that Arteta has made to Arsenal’s training ground. He has executed an array of changes since taking charge.
Another change implemented this summer saw Arsenal add images of the club’s most iconic moments to London Colney’s walls. The ‘Golden Moments’ montage features instances such as Reiss Nelson’s dramatic stoppage-time winner over Bournemouth and the player’s name.
Another display features post-it notes with one thing each player and their families believe can help Arsenal in another Premier League title push. Arteta even also bought a chocolate Labrador that he called Win this May. The dog now lives at their London Colney base, too.
