Arsenal cruise past Dinamo Zagreb in Champions League

Arsenal put themselves in the driving seat for a place in the round of 16 for the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners picked up three points and three goals against Dinamo Zagreb in a controlling performance at the Emirates Stadium.

Declan Rice opened the scoring just moments in the game, backed up by finishes from Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard.

It means Arsenal need just one point to qualify in the top-eight, offering a potential boost for Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal reject transfer approach for Jakub Kiwior

Among those linked with a potential Arsenal transfer exit is defender Jakub Kiwior, with uncertainty surrounding his future.

The Poland international has been linked with a potential return to Serie A, but it’s one that the Gunners are against sanctioning.

Arsenal Insider have spoken to transfer expert Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, who has provided an update on Kiwior’s situation, stating Juventus entered the frame for the defender again.

However, the north London outfit have rebuffed any attempt at making a switch, seemingly setting their stance on his future.

Dusan Vlahovic emerges as “favourite” Arsenal transfer target

Another transfer link appearing around Arsenal surrounds a move for a forward to help bolster their attacking ranks.

Centre-forwards are among those mentioned, including Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic amid uncertainty over his future.

With that said, transfer expert Rudy Galetti has revealed on TeamTalk that the Serbian is ‘Arteta’s favourite’ striker target now.

The Bianconeri are believed to be holding out for £55million to let Vlahovic leave with 18 months remaining on his contract.

Arsenal are looking at landing a discounted price to ensure that the striker moves to the club.
