Jorrel Hato to Arsenal transfer price
The summer transfer window opens soon and for Arsenal, it offers the chance to bolster their ranks for the coming season.
A whole host of players have been linked as options that could improve the squad for the here and now, but there is also an eye towards the future.
Some transfer targets have the next few years in mind and that’s exactly the case with Ajax youngster Jorrel Hato.
The Gunners are claimed to be monitoring the 18-year-old centre-back, who started almost every Eredivisie match last season.
While it would be an ambitious deal to land a player with such potential, it may not come at a cheap price.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal will have to make “an enormous offer” to sign the Dutch defender this summer.
With Arsenal likely to prioritise some more urgent issues, it remains to be seen whether Hato could be a signing that comes through in the coming weeks and months.

Jakub Kiwior transfer stance
Arsenal could be open to letting defender Jakub Kiwior leave the club in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old made 30 appearances for the Gunners last season, featuring as both a left-back and centre-back.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, via Caught Offside, an exit could be on the cards if an “important” offer is received.
Mikel Arteta is claimed to be keen on keeping the Polish international, though interest from the likes of AC Milan could sway that decision.
It comes as Arsenal have been rumoured with interest in the left-back market, which could see them bolster their backline options.

Arsenal goalkeeper transfer interest
Arsenal are facing the prospect of signing more than one goalkeeper this summer to help bolster their shot-stopping department.
David Raya is expected to sign permanently from Brentford at the end of his loan deal, with an option to buy worth roughly £30million.
However, a reduction in game time means that Aaron Ramsdale could be set for an exit, while Arthur Okonkwo has been released at the end of his contract.

Arsenal are currently trying to strike a deal with Karl Hein to keep him at the club, with his contract expiring this summer.
But with the potential for three exits, there is a need to add another option to the squad for the future.
As claimed by The Athletic, Arteta faces an “exodus” of goalkeepers, which will require a “deputy for Raya, but they are also considering adding a third goalkeeper”.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will add more than one goalkeeper to their ranks over the coming weeks.
