Arsenal and Mikel Arteta now need to make a concerted effort to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto in the near future.
That’s off the back of Neto putting in another star performance for Wolves against Luton Town yesterday.

And after some very unfortunate and lengthy injuries, the 23-year-old now finally looks to be back to his best.
Arsenal have been consistently linked with a move for Neto over the past few summers, including thus.
Wolves have reportedly set an asking price of £50m in the past, a price that is now looking more realistic.
Pedro Neto was being linked with the best clubs in the world prior to his knee injury in 2021.
And Arsenal could now steal the march on a player who once again looks destined for the top.
Arsenal already have a competitive situation on the wing, but it’s one that can be improved.
Arteta is showing right now that he is willing to be ruthless when needed, he’s replacing a fan favourite in Aaron Ramsdale with David Raya.
And it’s time Arteta did the same at Arsenal with Neto.
Neto could be brilliant under Arteta at Arsenal
Whilst Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe are rightfully fan favourites, they are players that are being left behind in Arteta’s project.
Leandro Trossard is now proving that he’s elite, capable back up to Gabriel Martinelli.

But the same doesn’t exist on the right.
Should Bukayo Saka get injured right now there would be a significant drop off to the likes of Nelson.
Arsenal would be in a much better position if Arteta could instead turn to ‘sensational’ Neto.
Moreover, if Arsenal don’t act promptly for a player they’ve admired for years, they could face heavy competition.
Of course, any move would now hinge on the price Wolves would now demand for a player who looks so crucial this year.
