Arsenal player ratings vs Atletico Madrid, Bukayo Saka scores 8/10 and two other stars join him

Bukayo Saka was once again the difference maker for Arsenal, but Viktor Gyokeres and Myles Lewis-Skelly also impressed as Arsenal reached the Champions League final.

Saka’s goal proved to be the moment which sent Arsenal to their first Champions League final since 2005 on a historic night at the Emirates Stadium.

Riccardo Calafiori had a solid game at left-back, managing very well up against Antoine Griezmann and Giuliano Simeone.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – 8

Myles Lewis-Skelly was always looking to play forward and produced another very assured performance in midfield for the Gunners.

Declan Rice – 7

Declan Rice once again proved why he is one of the best midfielders in Europe with a dominant display in the middle of the pitch.

Eberechi Eze – 6

Eberechi Eze had a rather quiet evening in the number ten role, managing just 34 touches in 59 minutes.

Bukayo Saka – 8

Saka once again proved his importance to Arsenal’s attack as he netted

Leandro Trossard – 7

Leandro Trossard played a key role in Saka’s goal and looked very lively down the left for the Gunners.

Viktor Gyokeres – 8

Viktor Gyokeres was outstanding against Atletico Madrid, despite not getting his goal.

The striker worked tirelessly for the Gunners, pressing from the front and always bringing others into play.

Piero Hincapie – 6

Piero Hincapie being able to come on for Calafiori was a great sign of Arsenal’s remarkable depth in defence, and the Ecuadorian was so good.

Noni Madueke – 5

Noni Madueke struggled to make too much of an impact on the game and nearly gifted Atletico a big chance.

Martin Odegaard – 6

Martin Odegaard came off the bench and just helped Arsenal to gain a bit more control of possession in the middle of the pitch.

Gabriel Martinelli – 6

Gabriel Martinelli had a few lively moments towards the end and was another show of Arsenal’s impressive depth off the bench.
