Arsenal Insider sources understand that Arsenal are readying a bid for Alexander Isak should the Swedish international reject a new contract at Newcastle.
TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey has stated that Newcastle will demand in excess of £100m for Isak and that several of Europe’s big hitters are circling with Barcelona and PSG monitoring the situation.
Bailey told Arsenal Insider: “Arsenal will bring in a new striker, at this point, it would be surprising if it is not Isak or Sesko.”

Arsenal close to signing Callan Hamill for six figure fee
Arsenal look to have found a replacement for the departed Ayden Heaven as per The Courier, the Gunners are closing in on St Johnstone defender Callan Hamill.
Hamill is a versatile defender playing at right back or centre back and has trained with the Arsenal youth teams in pre-season last summer.
A six figure fee will be paid to St Johnstone as the Gunners look to develop another first team star at their Hale End academy.

Arne Slot believes Premier League teams approach Liverpool differently
Following his side’s 2-2 draw at Villa Park, Arne Slot’s Liverpool moved eight points clear in the Premier League however, it is now the Gunners who hold a game in hand.
Speaking to talkSPORT (via Birmingham Live) the Liverpool boss has claimed that teams have a special approach when coming up against his side.
Slot claimed: “We come over here and I see fireworks. I don’t know if they do this every game, but I assume that it is because it’s Liverpool.”
Arteta will be hoping that the cracks are beginning to show at Anfield and three points at home to West Ham will only further the pressure on Liverpool.

Arsenal have a six man winger shortlist for the summer
Arsenal Insider sources understand that Arsenal have drawn up a six man shortlist of wingers for their pursuit in the summer.
Arsenal are known admirers of Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams but according to Graeme Bailey there are five other names on the list as well and work is being done with each of them.
Bailey told Arsenal Insider: “So, they’ve done work on and looked at Nico Williams, who they like a lot.
“Their number one, if there’s nothing stopping it, is Raphinha. But he’s obviously not going anywhere now, as he’s become arguably the best wide player in Europe this season, so he’s untouchable.”
