Arsenal have had several players out injured recently, and Jurrien Timber is one of them.
The Dutch defender pulled out of the Netherlands’ squad in the ongoing international break after missing Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen.
Timber was also unavailable in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City, which was a major blow for Mikel Arteta.
However, there is now hope that Timber will be back very soon.
Fill in the blank: Jurrien Timber is now worth £__m to Arsenal
Jurrien Timber set to return after the international break
Jurrien Timber was arguably the best right-back in the world during the first half of the season.
The former Ajax man was outstanding at both ends of the pitch and played a huge role in helping Arsenal in the Premier League and the Champions League.
However, since the turn of the year, Timber’s form has dipped, and injuries have not helped his rhythm either.
Now, The Sun have revealed that the Arsenal number 12 is closing in on a return from his groin injury and is eyeing a comeback right after the international break.
The Gunners face Southampton in the FA Cup next, which could provide the perfect opportunity for Timber to come back into the side.
That would be a huge boost for Arteta at a time when every game is a cup final.

Mikel Arteta must rotate Jurrien Timber and Ben White carefully
Arsenal are in the rare position of having two world-class options at right-back in Timber and Ben White.
The two defenders have both struggled with injuries, largely due to the demands placed on them over the season.
That is why Arteta needs to manage their minutes carefully to make sure that both of them remain fit and available until the end of the season.
Timber should be used in games where Arsenal face wingers who are strong in one-on-one situations. White, on the other hand, is better suited to matches against low blocks, where his overlapping runs can cause all sorts of problems to the opposition.
Rotating them in this way would keep both players fresh, which would then minimise the risk of injuries.
