While the January transfer window has closed for another year, Arsenal are still putting work into place to improve the squad in the summer.

The Gunners haven’t added any new players over the winter but could bolster further in the months ahead.

Mikel Arteta gives Arsenal injury update

Heading into a huge clash with Newcastle in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg, Arsenal are hopeful of overturning a two-goal deficit.

It will be a challenge, though there is nearly a fully fit squad at the disposal of Mikel Arteta on Wednesday night.

There were some questions fielded over the fitness of Ben White – who is nearing a return in the weeks ahead – and Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal transfer flop set for Premier League return

While the transfer window is now officially closed, teams in the Premier League can still register free agents to their squads.

It seems unlikely that Arsenal will be doing any business on that front, but one star does look set to make such a move.

That being Willian, the former Gunners winger and Chelsea star, who is set to join Fulham in a surprise return.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Willian is undergoing medical tests before he makes to move back to Craven Cottage.
