Arsenal stance on January transfer signings
The January transfer window is right around the corner and plenty of an Arsenal persuasion are hoping for a big signing or two.
The Gunners have stumbled in the first half of the season so far, struggling to string together enough wins on the bounce to keep themselves in the Premier League title race.
With the transfer window approaching quickly, there’s some hope that it could offer a chance to strengthen the team.

However, a marquee signing may not be on the cards, with ESPN claiming that Arsenal are only looking to invest if there are huge injury issues or unexpected opportunities.
It means it is unlikely that the big-name striker will make a move to the Emirates Stadium in the weeks ahead.

Arsenal prepare bid for Joao Pedro
One player who is on the radar at Arsenal is Joao Pedro, with the Brighton star on their list along with a whole host of other clubs.
The Gunners are on the hunt for a centre-forward after missing out on some big names in recent transfer windows.
With Pedro’s impressive performances in the Premier League, there are some reports stating that Arsenal, along with Liverpool, are preparing a bid for the Brazilian.

According to Caught Offside, an offer of around €55-65 million (£45.7million-£54million) is being lined up for the star man.
It remains to be seen if a deal would be agreed at that rate, with other reports claiming Brighton have a far higher asking price.

Craig Burley slams Kai Havertz after Arsenal vs Everton
After Arsenal’s disappointing draw with Everton, plenty of players came in for criticism for a lack of cutting edge.
Kai Havertz was the main aim of that from Craig Burley, with the former Chelsea star claiming on ESPN: “It’s almost every game, we sit here and say ‘what did he [Havertz] do?’
“Yeah, he ran about, he closed down, he won a couple of headers. He didn’t do anything of any note in or around the penalty area.
“The one man that stays on the field has the least impact of anybody, and that’s the frontman Kai Havertz. It’s a problem.”
It reaffirms the reason why Arsenal are still looking through the market for a possible centre-forward transfer.
