Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko delivered a superb performance during Saturday’s victory over Burnley, and journalist Charles Watts was blown away by one thing he did.
Zinchenko had what was arguably his best performance of the season as he helped drive Arsenal forward as an inverted left-back, and even scored a rare goal to help seal the victory.
His goal was a stunning half-volley, which saw him produce a marvellous piece of technique as he launched himself in the air to finish, in a moment which wowed fans and pundits alike.
Zinchenko technique earns plaudits
Speaking on his YouTube channel, journalist Charles Watts praised Zinchenko for his goal, and highlighted the reaction to the strike within the Emirates Stadium.
“Look how high off the ground he is, it was absolutely superb, it was one of those goals that when they show the replay in the stadium, you hear the whole stadium collectively gasp because of how good it was,” Watts stated.
“The technique was absolutely exceptional.”
Zinchenko finding his form?

It’s not been an easy start to the season for the Ukrainian, who was initially injured at the beginning of the campaign, and has now found himself occasionally dropped for Takehiro Tomiyasu, who is in a superb vein of form.
Zinchenko has had some shaky performances, with his half-time withdrawal away at Chelsea a low point, but he looked back to his best against Burnley, and his rare goal, just his second for the club, was a nice reminder of just how incredible his technical ability is.
The four-time Premier League winner has been a superb addition to the squad since his arrival from Manchester City last season, and alongside Gabriel Jesus, has helped Arsenal raise their level from top four contenders to title challengers.
Zinchenko has received criticism at times, but he remains a top-quality and important member of Mikel Arteta’s squad.
