Due to that, the report claims that ‘the conversation around a contract renewal for Declan Rice’ would change now if Vinicius ends up at Arsenal and earns a mammoth deal.
That suggests the Englishman’s representatives will seek a bigger payday for their client, perhaps a deal closer to what Vinicius would potentially earn.
Rice has every right to do that based on his importance for the club, but that may push a few others to seek better terms as well.

That is a problem all the big clubs face, and the Gunners, who are the Premier League champions now, should be prepared for the same.
Bukayo Saka is already on a fortune and Rice is likely to get a similar deal, but if Vinicius is brought in and handed huge wages, both of those players will be within their rights to seek more money.
