Arsenal star Leandro Trossard has now given his verdict on Manchester City ace Jeremy Doku.
Whilst Leandro Trossard and Jeremy Doku are Premier League rivals when representing Arsenal and Manchester City, respectively, they are currently teammates on international duty with Belgium.
Manchester City signed Doku in the recent summer transfer window, paying £55.5 million to prise the winger away from Rennes.
Doku has hit the ground running at the Etihad Stadium, and has already racked up four goals and six assists, across all competitions, for the reigning champions.
Meanwhile, Trossard himself has been in excellent form himself for Arsenal, impressing as a striker in recent weeks.
If both players are still fit and firing by the time EURO 2024 rolls around, that will be a huge boost for the Belgian national team.
Trossard has now spoken out publicly about how highly he rates his international colleague. As quoted by Het Belang Van Limburg, the 28-year-old said, “Jeremy in this form is extremely dangerous.”

Leandro Trossard set for important role at Arsenal
Mikel Arteta, for his part, will be hoping that Doku’s form dips soon. With Arsenal looking to overhaul Manchester City in the Premier League title race this season, the Spanish coach will want some of the opposition club’s top attackers to endure something of a barren spell in front of goal.
The Gunners are currently sat one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League table, with Pep Guardiola’s side leading the way. The north London club will have to be consistently at their best for the rest of the campaign to go one better than the second-place finish they achieved last time out.
Trossard will also be needed to play a key role over the course of the season. The £27 million former Brighton and Hove Albion man’s versatility means he can slot in anywhere across the front line when required. However, it has been suggested that Trossard is at his best on the left wing.
Trossard has been a sensational addition to Arteta’s squad, since joining the north London club in January. In 36 appearances for Arsenal to date he has racked up seven goals and twelves assists. So far this season, in just 14 outings, across all competitions, he has chipped in with six goals and two assists.
If Arsenal are to achieve their aims for this season, and clinch the title, Trossard will surely have a key role to play in that success.
