Every time Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur meet is a spectacle, with the Emirates preparing to host the North London Derby.
A midweek North London Derby awaits Arsenal, who will be desperate to do the double over their noisy neighbours.
Mikel Arteta has a decision to make against Spurs, as the Gunners continue to struggle on the injury front.
Gabriel Jesus suffered a season-ending ACL injury to further weaken Arsenal’s attack however, Spurs received an injury boost.

Inside Gabriel Magalhaes’ feud with Richarlison
Ange Postecoglou revealed that Richarlison will be available to feature in the derby having recovered from a long-term injury.
The Spurs boss shared that the striker was desperate to be involved, which will rouse one member of the Arsenal squad.
Gabriel Magalhaes was the hero when Arsenal beat Spurs 1-0 in September and the defender could have even more of an incentive to win against the Lilywhites because of Richarlison.
Following Arsenal’s win over Spurs in April 2024, the Tottenham striker’s social media activity came under scrutiny, as Richarlison taunted Gabriel on TikTok.
Richarlison re-posted a video of the two clashing, captioned ‘Brazil’s first choice striker vs Brazil’s last choice CB’, which was cheeky.
The former Everton talisman did apologise whimsically on Instagram as his activity was detected, rounding off a rather petulant one-way exchange.
Since then, the striker has not played against the Arsenal defender, with his return on Wednesday night offering Gabriel the chance to seek revenge.
It’s something that the Gunners star doesn’t need to do, considering that Gabriel is a valued member of the Brazil squad and Richarlison hasn’t represented his country since 2023.
Gabriel gunning for North London Derby glory
No one enjoyed Arsenal’s win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September more than Gabriel, who scored the match-winner.
Vinicius Junior commended Gabriel on his performance in the last North London Derby, as the Brazilian deservedly stole the headlines for his all-round display.
Now, the centre-back will be hoping for further glory against Arsenal’s fiercest rivals, with the matter of Richarlison’s return an additional source of motivation.
The defender has become an integral part of Arteta’s project over the years, being an adored figure within the Arsenal squad.
