Catch all of the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Rodrygo, Dusan Vlahovic and Ethan Nwaneri.
The Gunners have a lot of work to do this summer, with a striker, a winger, a midfielder, a defender and a new back-up goalkeeper all on the agenda.
Arsenal visit Southampton in their final game of the season on Sunday afternoon, and once that has concluded, all attention will turn to strengthening their squad in the market.
Several names are already being linked with a switch to N5, and thus, it’s sure to be a busy summer for Andrea Berta at the Emirates.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours.
Arsenal reluctant to meet Rodrygo’s wage demands
Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo this summer.
The Brazilian is understood to be open to leaving the Bernabeu, although he is reportedly demanding around £8 million a year in wages.
According to Florian Plettenberg, the Gunners like the player and want to sign him, but talks have stalled due to their reticence to bow to Rodrygo’s salary demands.

This could end up being a major stumbling block in the prospective deal.

Dusan Vlahovic wants to sign for Arsenal
While Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are Arsenal’s primary striker targets ahead of the summer, Berta is keeping his options open.
Dusan Vlahovic has been mooted as a potential alternative candidate, and the Serbian is said to be keen on a switch to the Emirates.
Vlahovic rejected Arsenal back in January 2022, deciding to join Juventus in a big-money move instead.

This has put the Gunners faithful off the potential transfer, although he remains on Berta’s shortlist.

Ethan Nwaneri attracting interest from Premier League rivals
Ethan Nwaneri’s contract at Arsenal expires next summer, and the North London club are subsequently looking to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
The Gunners had been confident that they would be able to do so, but Arsenal Insider has revealed that the teenager’s contractual situation is now a concern.
Nwaneri’s entourage has reservations about committing the player’s future to Arsenal, given the Emirates hierarchy want to sign two new forwards this summer.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are all monitoring the situation and are ready to pounce.
