Cedric Soares sent warning to Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko
Former Arsenal star Cedric Soares revealed the “funny” conversation he had with Oleksandr Zinchenko before the start of the season.
The Portuguese star left over the summer for a new challenge at the end of his contract, following on from a few years at the club.
Cedric left the number 17 behind, a squad number that Oleksandr Zinchenko has since taken as his own at Arsenal.

Discussing the switch of number, the former right-back said to The Athletic: “It was funny, Zinny called me at the beginning of the season and said, ‘Brother, can I take your number?’
“I said, ‘Obviously, but be careful because this number weighs heavy!’ He hadn’t been playing so much because of injuries so when I saw him I said, ‘I told you it was heavy!’. Zinny is a really good guy so he loves to joke around.”

Arsenal transfer target Matheus Cunha banned
Arsenal have been linked with a potential transfer for Wolves star Matheus Cunha ahead of the January window.
The striker has impressed with plenty of goals and assists in recent weeks, leading to links over a switch elsewhere.

With that in mind, it comes as a slight blow to any suitors in that the FA have confirmed Cunha will be banned for his next two matches.
If he stays at Wolves, it means he will miss their Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest and FA Cup match against Bristol City.
That may change if he makes a move before the ban comes into place following a potential transfer switch.

Alexander Isak to Arsenal impacted by one key factor
Arsenal have been linked with a potential transfer for Alexander Isak, with the striker having impressed with his form for Newcastle.
The forward has found the back of the net regularly for the Magpies, with his clinical nature leading to plenty of links on the transfer front.
Newcastle are believed to want over £150million for his services, which would be an expensive deal for Arsenal over the coming weeks.

While a move in January seems unlikely, the summer could prove to be more fruitful, with potential offers on the table.
As reported by The Sun, Isak’s future may hinge on the Champions League as reports claim that he would be happy to stay at Newcastle if they manage a top-four finish.
