Prediction

Arsenal will hope to get their pre-season tour of the USA off to a winning start against AFC Bournemouth in LA. Arteta also beat Iraola home and away in the Premier League through the 2023/24 term with the Gunners triumphing 4-0 on the south coast and later 3-0 in N5.

The Cherries only drawing their opening friendly against Wrexham AFC will also encourage Arteta. But Arsenal even drew their opening friendly last year as 1.FC Nurnberg came from behind for a 1-1 stalemate. Getting minutes in their legs was far more significant that day.

So, Arsenal Insider predicts Arsenal and Bournemouth will play out a close affair which may even end as a draw. Arteta will just want to see his players get through the game unscathed before their games against top-six rivals Manchester United and Liverpool in the days after.
