Arsenal winger Charles Sagoe Jr returns from loan spell
Arsenal academy winger Charles Sagoe Jr has returned to the club following his loan spell at Shrewsbury Town.
The youngster was set to spend the season at the League One outfit, but he struggled to gain a consistent run of minutes in the team.
With Arsenal’s struggles for depth in the forward ranks, it could see Sagoe Jr pushed forward to the senior side soon.

The winger would, however, be ineligible for another loan if he does make an appearance for the Gunners this month.
Players are only subject to featuring for two teams per season – while they can technically be registered for three.

Tottenham hold talks for Arsenal transfer target Randal Kolo Muani
Arsenal have been linked with a switch for PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani as a potential loan option in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are keen on adding more firepower to the frontline over the coming month, but they face competition for the same options.
According to Ben Jacobs, several teams are also linked with Kolo Muani, with one of those being Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham.
The journalist claims that Spurs have discussed a potential move for the versatile striker, but are yet to make an offer.
It would come as something of a double blow to Mikel Arteta, with the Lilywhites potentially pipping them to the deal.

Mikel Arteta gives Arsenal injury update before Newcastle clash
Arsenal are facing some mixed injury news heading into their clash with Newcastle in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg.
The Gunners have several issues throughout their squad, with a mixture of players suffering from illness and long-term issues.
Two of the stars who face uncertainty heading into the match are Ethan Nwaneri and Kai Havertz – with the former handed a muscle problem and the latter facing illness.

On Nwaneri, Mikel Arteta told the press: “Unfortunately he has picked up an injury and is going to be out for a few weeks. Muscular injury.”
Adding to that, he claimed on Havertz: “Hopefully, but I don’t want to say yes because last time I said he would be fit and he wasn’t fit.”
