Following the Gunners’ Premier League title win, Andrea Berta still has plans to reinforce Arsenal’s attack, and the Portuguese star is one of the names on that list.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Leao took to Instagram to congratulate Rice on winning his first Premier League title.

Rafael Leao is one of the many current and former footballers who have congratulated Declan Rice after Arsenal were crowned Premier League champions.

Rice was one of the first Arsenal players to post on social media after the Gunners won the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years.

The 27-year-old reminded supporters that he told them the league was ‘not over’ after they were beaten 2-1 by Manchester City last month.

He was pictured with Eberechi Eze, Kai Havertz, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and even Berta.

Now, in response to Rice’s Instagram post, Leao wrote in the comments: “Well done, my bro”.

Theo Walcott, Rio Ferdinand and Carlton Cole were among the ex-pros who also congratulated the midfielder after his post.

Leao is expected to cost £74 million this summer, but he could be the elite attacker who takes Mikel Arteta’s team to the next level.

The Portuguese international produced ten goals and three assists for a poor AC Milan side, and he could become even better playing for the Premier League champions.

On Tuesday, Leao was named in Portugal’s 2026 World Cup squad, where he will have a chance to showcase his ability to Arsenal.
