Arsenal’s Ben White reveals the one ‘crazy’ thing Bukayo Saka does every week, it’s incredible

Arsenal stars Ben White and Bukayo Saka have developed an incredible partnership.

The two Englishmen have played together for the Gunners for over three years now. They’ve been on the right flank for the last two seasons and have been brilliant.

White is naturally a centre-half, but since William Saliba’s arrival, Mikel Arteta has deployed the England international at right-back.

He has been magnificent there, but he wouldn’t have been as successful if it wasn’t for Saka.

Ben White shares how Bukayo Saka massively helps him every week

Saka is one of the best attackers in the world, but he just doesn’t get enough credit.

Yes, people look at him and say he’s a very good player, but there are constant comparisons to others even though they haven’t been anywhere near as consistent as the Arsenal man.

Saka’s numbers have improved every year since he made his debut for the Gunners, but the other side of his game often goes unnoticed.

The Arsenal number seven always helps out defensively. He does more work off the ball than most other wingers in world football and that makes him a dream partner to have for any full-back.

White has now revealed that Saka never leaves him alone when Arsenal are being attacked. He always helps out, which is why the Gunners’ defence is so good.

Speaking to Ben Foster on Amazon Prime Sport, White said: “The amount of defending he does for me is crazy. He never leaves me one-v-one, which is obviously a massive help for when I’m up against Rashford or (players like him).”

When asked how wingers have changed over the years and help out more defensively, White replied: “Yeah, you can only sprint so many times, do you know what I mean? They’re coming back and defending and then they’re one-v-one with someone in the whole pitch, which is crazy.

“You should see their stats after the game… mad! You wouldn’t be able to do it. I wouldn’t be able to do it. They’re incredible, the speed of them and how much they can do it.

“I’m so glad that I’m with them.”

The one reason why Phil Foden and Cole Palmer will never be on Saka’s level

Arsenal fans are all sick and tired of people comparing Saka to players like Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Chelsea star Cole Palmer.

Don’t get us wrong, they are both wonderful attackers, but neither of them come close to Saka when you’re judging them as complete footballers.

The Arsenal number seven produces similar numbers to Foden and Palmer while also putting in a huge defensive shift every single week.

If Saka got a free role like Foden and Palmer do at their clubs, we’re convinced he will outscore both of them comfortably.

People can compare all they want, but the fact is that Saka is the best among the three of them – it’s not even close!
