Vinicius Jr to Arsenal this summer very much feels like the transfer of dreams but there is a world where it becomes reality.
The Brazilian was excellent in the World Cup in an otherwise poor Brazil side and Vinicius will now be looking to kick on and get back to club football ASAP.
His four goals over at the tournament were a highlight but when it comes to Arsenal fans, it is the idea of signing him that is exciting.
Vinicius is being linked with Arsenal – among others – and now, it appears there is some pressure being applied by Real Madrid.

Real Madrid putting pressure on Vinicius Jr as transfer speculation continues
The notion of Madrid even considering the sale of Vinicius is a bizarre one but we all know what that club can be like when it comes to the transfer market.
Now, according to reports from TeamTalk, Madrid themselves are actually putting the forward under pressure.
It’s claimed that Florentino Perez and the powers that be at Madrid are pressing Vinicius and his team to put pen to paper on a new contract. If not, it’s suggested that Madrid will not hesitate to place Vinicius on the transfer list and look to bring in a big fee.
Interestingly, Arsenal are once again mentioned here as one of the clubs being kept informed of the situation.
As we know, it would likely cost north of £100m for Vinicius to leave but with Arsenal looking for a new player down that left side, he really is the dream signing.
Now, with Madrid upping the ante and a potential clash between player and club, Arsenal’s chances of making the signing of the summer have just increased immensely.
