Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have just picked up a fantastic 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners dominated the visitors from the very first minute of the game. They were in total control all afternoon and deservedly picked up all three points.
Bukayo Saka scored a wonder goal to give Arsenal the lead. Thomas Partey banged in a stunner from outside the box early in the second half before Ethan Nwaneri sealed the game in the 85th minute.
Arsenal’s winless run has come to an end, and with that, Arteta’s name has entered the club’s history books.

Mikel Arteta reaches Arsenal milestone
Arteta will complete five years as Arsenal’s manager in December.
The Spaniard has been through a lot in that period. He had to fix the mess he inherited, rebuild the entire squad and turn the club into title contenders.
The 42-year-old has managed to do it all, and against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, Arteta completed 250 games as the manager of Arsenal.
That’s an incredible achievement on its own, but what makes it even better is the success rate he has had at the helm at the Emirates.
Arteta has won 147 of his first 250 games as Arsenal’s boss. No other manager who has been in charge for 250 games has a better record than him – not even the legendary Arsene Wenger.
The Spaniard’s win percentage as Arsenal’s manager stands at 58.8 per cent. That too is the best in the history of the club.
| Wins | Draws | Defeats | |
| Mikel Arteta after his first 250 games | 147 | 43 | 60 |
| Arsene Wenger after his first 250 games | 136 | 67 | 47 |
Arteta reveals his greatest achievement in 250 games as Arsenal’s manager
250 games as the manager of a club as big as Arsenal is an incredible achievement. What makes it even more impressive is that this is Arteta’s first-ever managerial job.
The Spaniard has done a lot of great things over the years, and he is the biggest reason why Arsenal are challenging for the title again.
Fans can debate what Arteta’s greatest achievement has been over the last five years. The 42-year-old has had his say on the topic.
“Bringing the club together, 100%, he said in his press conference, as per Arsenal.com.
“Lifting the spirit and giving a very clear DNA to the football club and setting it right again to be representing this club and this football shirt, from the players to everybody who works at the club in the way that is expected at this level.”
