Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is now said to be willing to sell a player who joined the club all the way back in 2019.
After eventually beating Brentford yesterday it’s clear that Arteta’s side do have the credentials to go one better than last season.

Arsenal came up short with Manchester City in pursuit last campaign, but seem in a much stronger position than in March last year.
Importantly, Arteta is seeing players like Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus return to the squad from their respective injuries right now, rather than head to the treatment room.
Arsenal’s squad is in a stronger position, and it’s clear that both Arteta and Edu Gaspar are keen to keep progressing each summer, regardless of what is achieved on the pitch.
That being said, Arsenal seem set for a big summer of spending, and as you’d imagine, players will head in the other direction.
And according to GIVEMESPORT, Arsenal are now willing to sell Kieran Tierney for the right price in the off-season.
Via this information, Arsenal would be willing to start negotiations with interested parties at around £20m.
Mikel Arteta now willing to sell Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney this summer
Tierney, who is said to have a contract with Arsenal until 2026, is of course currently on loan at Real Sociedad in La Liga.
And having just returned from a recent hamstring injury, Tierney has now played 20 games in all competitions, with his loan definitely proving a success.

Looking ahead to next season, it doesn’t really seem as if there will be a future for Tierney in North London, even if the Scot has been so crucial during different periods of Arteta’s tenure.
The defender simply doesn’t seem to match the direction Arteta is looking to take his squad, and is no longer a tactical fit given how the Spaniard likes to invert his full-backs.
It may not necessarily come as a surprise to Arsenal fans that the club are now willing to sell Tierney, but it will be an emotional one nonetheless.
This report hints at a ‘fire sale’ this summer, with the likes of Aaron Ramsdale and Emile Smith Rowe also players who could leave the Emirates.
And with that in mind, Arsenal fans have now all been saying the same thing about Ramsdale following last night’s error.
